"miamiHeights: Hernan Bas" chronicles a 2-year journey from the 29-year old's highly regarded 10-year survey show at the Rubell Family Collection during Art Basel Miami Beach to his opening at New York's Brooklyn Museum on his 31st birthday, including detailed action of the painter at work, with revealing commentary about the demanding business of producing, placing and sustaining work.
This film is now available for screenings and for sale on DVD homevideo with special features.
"miamiHeights: Bert Rodriguez" is the story of a young conceptual / performance artist transforming his most personal life events into public artwork events. With commentary about how far (and near) an artist must go, from: Marina Abramovic, Vito Acconci, Jerry Saltz, Yvonne Force Villareal and many more. Premiering in November 2010.
